September 22nd - 26th, 2014

This week we are focusing on the letter “Tt”.  We have learned about the letters:  “Ss” and “Aa”.    In math we will learn more about sorting rules.
Monday – We will be talking about what we did on the weekend.  Then we will draw pictures in our journals to represent the idea.  This is something that we do often on Monday.  You can help your child by discussing the different things you did over the weekend.  Ideas are the first writing traits that we work on in kindergarten.
Tuesday –   Token Day
-         We will meet out Root of Empathy baby today!  More information will follow about this amazing program.
Wednesday – Reading Workshop @ 7:00p.m.  in the classroom.
Thursday – Dental Clinic arrives (more information to come)
Friday – No school / PD Day

Thanks to all children and parents for their efforts on the Terry Fox run on Friday.  Money can still be passed in until the end of the month. Our school is also planning a Fall Fair to raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation. Stay tuned for more information on this event scheduled for early October.
